There are two types of delimiters:

• Entities - Objects of blockchain-based financial and governance systems

• Metadata - Categorisations of such entities

Entities

C	Chain	Decentralised, immutable ledger of transactions
A	Asset	Digital asset representing ownership or other rights issued and managed on a blockchain; also known as 'token'
APP	DApp	Application that runs on a decentralised network utilising smart contracts
DAO	DAO	Decentralised Autonomous Organisation: Organization operated by decentralised computer programs, utilising blockchain for voting and financial management
LP	Liquidity Pools	Decentralised reserve of assets used to provide liquidity for DApp functions

Metadata

Shorthand	Delimiter	Description
DOM	Application Domain	Specific area or field of use for a token or DApp
ECO	Ecosystem	Network of protocols association with major blockchains/cryptocurrencies
LC	Legal Category	Category of crypto assets based on https://www.pwc.com.au/legal/assets/legaltalk-alert-legal-classification-of-crypto-assets-16-october-2018.pdf
SEC	Sector	The industry where the token or DApp specialises in
UC	Use Case	The specific purpose or function for which a digital token is designed

Each delimiter has a list of applicable tickers, for example:

• For chain delimiter C you can use BTC, ETH, POLYGON... tickers

• For asset delimiter A you can use BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT... tickers

• For sector delimiter SEC you can use DEFI, STB, MEME... tickers
